This week, our FF XIV raiding team made tremendous progress as we cleared the first fight of the current patch’s Savage raid tier, Eden’s Promise. Cloud of Darkness definitely felt under the weather while our terrible attacks and equally terrible puns started raining down on her. And as the last phase started and we had to improvise mechanics never seen before, we threw caution to the wind and went for the kill!
What makes this achievement even greater is that we don’t have a permanent static and rather adapt to the schedules of our members. Staying true to our ethos, we welcomed several raiders over the last weeks who all contributed to this success. They all deserve thunderous applause, as even in the cloudiest storm, you could always feel the electricity in this static.
We may be a low-pressure system, but the cumulo-tive amount of our efforts still brought us on cloud nine. This boss had better take a rain check next time!
Saturday we’ll be advancing to E10S, the Shadowkeeper. It should be another ruff one, but we’re paws-itive we can do it!
